Baraza is delightful.  We lived in Arusha for over a year, and Baraza took my family on many Safaris.  We always recommended Baraza to our friends.  He is honest, trustworthy and reliable.

As a retired biologist, I was superbly impressed by Baraza’s expertise, depth of knowledge and ability to read animals.  Nothing escaped his expert vision, he’d spot something so far away (while driving at 30 mph at times) that we had to find it with binoculars!  When I listened to other groups of people at lodges or overheard other guides I realized that my opinion of Baraza as an extraordinary guide was confirmed.  Other groups were not experiencing as many animals or observing the intimate behaviors we were able to watch.  I have been around professional guides at other places (as well as my husband being a professional river guide) and know what it takes to be a good guide.  Also, that a great guide can make all the difference in your trip being good and being over-the-top amazing every day, day after day!  I was also interested in seeing as many different birds as possible.  Once again, Baraza was expert in his knowledge of birds.  I took hundreds of various bird photos and he’d even remember if I had taken a photo of a bird we’d seen already or not!  Brilliance in guiding as well as driving and negotiating tricky terrain, you couldn’t be in better hands.
